I wonder whether there are any plans or flowers that you can grow for winter in Scotland(eastern part)?
I've got some empty pots and they look boring in my garden. I'd really appreciate your advice on planting during winter time. Promise to give the highest score for a reasonable answer!!

- Any evergreen shrub. Miniature confirs are nice, I've got some and they look good all year round. In the summer I pop some flowers in.
- I'm not sure if Pansies or Violas are grown in Scotland, but they will give you wonderful color from fall until a very hard freeze. They will stay dormant but semi-evergreen and will come back in very early spring and continue to give more great color.
- I don't really care about the points, you can give them to someone else. I own a nursery in south east TEXAS. A great couple of beautiful winter flowers are pansies( which you can put on a salad to make it colorful and tasty, they are edible ), snapdragons, where you live they should last a long time, alyssum, some petunias, just to give you some ideas. Hey i have a buddy that is from Kemney or Camney Scotland. He was the best footballer i have ever seen, haven't heard from him for about 25 years.
