What kind of flower should be planted in my garden?

My little garden is facing north and doesn't get much sunlight. What kind of flower can I plant?

  1. Hostas and impatiens and you will be a happy gardener!
  2. Orchids which are naturally shade-loving plants. The blooms are long-lasting and beautiful. I'm growing orchids in my balcony, right now. The Clerodendrum (Bleeding Heart Vine) which bears clusters of red-tipped white flowers likes a brightly-lit spot away from direct sunlight. These are two of my favourites, and are worth growing in your garden. Happy gardening!
  3. You could plant hostas or bleeding hearts or coral bells but i think the best thing would look in a couple seed catalougs and find out what you are interested in and then go to a garden center and buy your plants hope this helps.
  4. A good combination contrast would be Lillies of the Valley and Bleeding Heart. You could have hostas as ground cover. One that I adore for the foliage is the cinnamon fern.
