My little garden is facing north and doesn't get much sunlight. What kind of flower can I plant?

Orchids which are naturally shade-loving plants. The blooms are long-lasting and beautiful. I'm growing orchids in my balcony, right now. You could plant hostas or bleeding hearts or coral bells but i think the best thing would look in a couple seed catalougs and find out what you are interested in and then go to a garden center and buy your plants hope this helps.
A good combination contrast would be Lillies of the Valley and Bleeding Heart. You could have hostas as ground cover. One that I adore for the foliage is the cinnamon fern.
