Where's the cheapest place to buy huge bags of nuts/seeds for garden birds?
My husband spends a fortune on nuts and seeds for the garden birds during winter months! He gets them from a local rural wholesalers. Does anyone know the cheapest way of getting big sacks of them? We have about 15 bird feeders!!

- Wilkinsons, they do big cheap ones
- ...hmmppft.....ha........you said "huge bags of nuts"!......Bwaahhhahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaa!
- Either Sams or wal-mart.
- Have a look on line
- look for 'feed shops' in your area. for many years I lived in the country in Ohio, and we had bird feeders and suet and the whole 9 yards... feed shops are where we could get seed and feed for at least half of what I paid at pet stores
- If you are Hants/Dorset area, then Nutbags.co.uk are cheap and deliver
- Where do you live? If you're in the UK look up your nearest Costco warehouse. It's about £3 for a massive bag but you'll need a membership.
- tesco!

- eBay, without a doubt. I bought a 25kg bag af wild bird food and it lasted for ages. £14 including postage. Oh, and congratulations for feeding the birds, especially over winter.
