- The tomato seeds will be fine. I'm not sure about the sunflower seeds. A good way to keep seeds from year to year is to put them in the freezer.
- You shouldn't have a problem. RScott
- yes, they will do just fine.....Happy Gardening!!!
- The seeds will be fine. I recently saw a program on Public Television that shows scientists saving seeds of rare plants in freezers.
- They probably are fine, but you can test the viability of any old seeds. Lay out some strips of paper towels. Put ten seeds from each package on a seperate strip and label them. Fold the strips over the seeds then spray until the paper is quite moist. Place in a plastic bag in a warm place. Most seeds sprout in one or two weeks when kept moist and warm. If most or none sprout from a particular package, you know those will not sprout in the garden.
