1. Join your local Garden Club, besides all the fun and friends you will make you will also get free plants and seeds
2. Probably not but find a neighbor that keeps birds and they will probably give you a handfull of TRILL for nothing, lots of Sunflower seeds in it as well as many others. All the kids around here have a Sunflower growing comettition thanks to one old lady and her budgie.
