I want to grow some marsh plants in with my garden plants..?

I picked some Newfoundland pitcher plants, a small fern, and a couple of small wild flowers. Will they die if they aren't in the right soil? Or will the roots take over the other plants and destroy my garden?

  1. only way to find out is to try. However, if you keep the soil moist enough for those plants, your regular veggies may rot in the ground.
  2. Hi Sue, I'm sure with your green fingers nothing would dare die on you , just place your lips near the plants and they will live for ever Ha Ha Don,t worry everything will be o k , trust me.
