Some very random plant questions?

If you do not always feed your venus fly trap bugs, will it die? and also if you took a coffee bean from a bag and planted it would it grow or no? are those already cooked or something? also my family loves strawberries, and I love watermelon if you were to take the seeds from either or and plant them, would they grow or not? And for watermelon do you plant the black or clear seed when planting, and for the strawberry can the things on the outside grow to? Thanks for answering my question? I plan on starting a garden soon

2. You do not need to "force feed" the flytrap - gets most of its nutrients from the soil. Coffee beans are roasted, kills the germ, won't germinate/grow. Black seeds are mature, white immature. Never tried strawberry from seed, usually transplant runners, must work, lots of wild strawberries out there.
