ot sure. also 6 medium to large gold fish. i have put the beneficial bacteria in it and it seems it was clear b4 i put that in now it is very cloudy? please advise.....

- You don't really need the beneficial bacteria, as it is a mini-ecosystem, and will maintain itself. I have snails in my koi pond, and they do a great job of maintaining the algae. Also, the more direct sunlight that the pond gets, the more quickly it will cloud.
- == take your water samlpe to the pet store or a swim/chemical store and chat with the person that knows how to correct the Ph of your pond....
- You have too many fish and you feed them. That makes a pond cloudy. A balanced ecosystem has one bunch of submerged vegetation per sf and floating vegetation covers at least 1/2 of the water surface.
