Free gardening seeds without postage cost?

Hello again.. I want to try my work at growing things.. So I figured, what better way to start trying than to get free seeds? I don't really care what kind of seeds or how many... I want to just see what it's like! So if you know of how to get free seeds off line without paying for any postage or anything of that sort.. So, please and thanks you! :) Maribeth J.

1. I don't know of any websites that are giving away free seeds with free shipping. You best option will probably be your County Extension office. They may have some free wheat, corn, or sunflower seeds available. Another idea is if you have a bag of dried beans in your pantry such as dry great northern beans, or dry pinto beans, you can plant them, and they will grow. However, beans do take a couple of weeks to germinate.
2. Wow! You're asking a lot,free seeds & postage paid at that! Try asking a friend for seeds from her plants.
