Where can I buy a lambs ear plant online?
Hi I am interested in planting a lambs ear plant in my garden because I like to feel the fuzzy leaves. Im not really good at plants and what not (only grow tomatoes and cucumbers), and most of that is done by my parents, but I help out occationally. I dont really know where to buy it, though, and im not sure if its too late in the year to plant them. Should I just buy seeds or buy the whole plant? And also, how should I take care of it? (I live about 40 miles away from philadelphia by the way).

- Lambs Ear is a very common plant that can be bought at any nursery or by mail order.
- Right here on amazon.com, they are 2.99. According to wikipedia, now in late spring is actually they're peak season. Have Fun!
- Make sure your parents agree to have a lambs ear in the garden, they're pretty invasive. We consider them weeds here in Tennessee. I'm actually in the process of trying to eradicate them in my yard. But you should be able to get them at any nursery, they're pretty common.
- They are are really invasive weed. Most nurseries don't sell them because of that.. You're better off asking friend and neighbor who have the problem if you can help out by taking one or two. I know I have 5 you could have. Make sure your mommy and daddy will allow you to plant an additional weed. There is no "taking care" They are a weed, and do really well all by themselves
- NatureHills.com has a couple of Lambs Ear varieties: Lambs Ear - Hummelo http://www.naturehills.com/product/lambs_ear_hummelo.aspx Lambs Ear - Silver Carpet http://www.naturehills.com/product/lambs_ear_silver_carpet.aspx
