I would like to plant a garden this year and would like to know which plants or flowers repel squirrels and birds from a vegetable garden

- I don't know much about gardening but my grandma would put moth balls in her garden to repel rodents. She'd also plant marigolds between her tomato plants to repel something. I don't recall what they were suppose to repel though. I bought this stuff from a store that was a rodent repellent you sprinkle down. I was using it for squirrels in our attic and it worked. Check what your local garden store has that's a rodent repellent.
