Setting up a water garden pond?
My husband and I are looking into getting a water garden pond for our back yard just to grow water lillies no fish or anything. No we know we need to dig the hole and such and fill it but after we get it all filled should we leave it for a day or so for the water to come to outside temperature and then put plants in it? And are there any chemicals or anything you have to put in the water?

- Check out Skippy's Koi and Pond site. They have a lot of information on ponds.
- Check an article I wrote about how to build a pond: http://www.pondlady.com/resource/pondbuild.html It includes step by step instructions with photos. Yes, you need to put a dechlorinator in the water before you put fish in. Letting the water sit for a few days is not enough to get all the heavy metals/chlorine out.
