Humor me - I've read all my new seed catalogs and I'm bored. I usually alternate the styles of 'brb' and Passenger. I find if I bend over, all the blood rushes to my pea brain and I end up head-butting a cabbage. @ Moonplan - Vessey's, Thompson&Morgan and my Fungi Perfecti catalogs @ reyn- Damn girl - now I got these naughty thoughts going through my mind. Yeah I'm getting bored with the Bible thumpers and God bashers over in R&S, good to be back.

  7. I like to sit with my knees on the ground, my butt resting on my heels. It's quite dainty actually. Unless I'm pulling weeds, then I just lean over with my butt in the air. When I used to smoke my hair always fell in my face and I would singe my hair with my lit cigarette.

  12. it will make ur work more hard with that postion. i always sit (half sit-like in indian toilet), this way you can move along the weeding works.
  13. Wow, your question is not very interesting, but it is something I can answer. Bending over with my butt in the air is not good on my back or anyone else's, so I prefer being on my hands and knees, even if I get dirty.

I have a 'booty scooter' ..... and I need my 'kneeler' .... the booty scooter gets me around, and the kneeler helps me stand up again if I have a job that really needs me close to the ground...... that's the worst part for me...   21. i would do both ways, since gardening on your hand and knees, would be easy but you'd get dirty (knees) and if i have my butt in the air then i would only get my hands dirty, but that would hurt my back a little bit.

  24. If your balance is poor & your garden is on a slope, best to garden on your knees & facing UP slope. Face down slope & you are likely to take a tumble if you are also working butt up.

  29. On my knees- butt in the air seems naughty to me. Whenever at school or in public or even when I'm by myself, I feel more comfortable bending my knees.
