Free Garden Catalogs

Trying to find wedding magazines...?

My boyfriends and I want to get married next year, and I am looking for places that will send me free catalogs or magazines. We don't have to much money to spare, but I would love to have somethings to look at for some ideas.

  1. Go to http://www.davidsbridal.com/HomeView and sign up to there e-mailing list and sign up to a wedding function http://www.davidsbridal.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/db/planning.jsp?langId=-1&storeId=10052&catalogId=10051&cm_sp_o=dzLwmbfwCjCawlf%208V%201bELCjCawlf%204zY%20nivi&categoryId=3000124 Also go to your nearest Barnes&Nobles grab a coffee because they have cafes inside take a stack of magazines and start looking at them then put them back no need to buy and it is free the magazines are not free but you are allowed to stay and read there .
  2. If you are on here, then you have the internet. The internet is The Best place to get ideas these days. Go to theknot.com to start.
  3. most of the things online are in the magazines. search online google and wedding sites. go to stores where you can sit and read the books and just hang out there for an hour or so and then leave. write information down that you might be interested in too. also wedding expos give out the magazines for free. i got four just from one expo. good luck
  4. You probably can't find much for free, but if you go somewhere like Barnes and Noble, they should have some that are about 5 bucks. Also you might want to consider getting something that's even 15 bucks. I have one and it seems expensive, but I can use it all through my wedding planning. I think it's called Real Simple Wedding 2010. It's pretty much dedicated towards planning and how to choose certain elements. It even gives a time line. I'm also really like The Knot Magazine. It has so, so many ideas. You should even get an account on theknot.com. You do have to give your address, but they won't bill you anything. They will probably send you little cards in the mail for vendors in your area. I get one like everyday. It's kind of annoying, but REALLY useful. The account on The Knot is free too, so it's basically like having their magazine on your computer. It really is so helpful. With that you can get a little countdown until your wedding, you kind of have this little inspiration board, they have an online guest list maker, a budgeter, and a to do checklist. I'm sorry to be talking about it so much, but if you want a ton of information on wedding planning, wedding ideas, that's your place. Also when it comes to choosing colors I would go with this site right here: http://theperfectpalette.blogspot.com/ If you have problems choosing colors, this is your go to place. I have a really hard time making choices so this was super duper helpful. You have to scroll down a bit but eventually on the left side of the page there will be a list of colors. You can click on them for palette ideas and it even has inspiration boards to sort of see the palette in action. It's so great! So that's what I would recommend. Both sites are very free and packed full of ideas :)
