does anyone know how to keep japanese beetles out of the garden? they are eating our tomatoes?

they are everywhere but especially on the tomatoes and my flowering plants

1. Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth works well and is safe for pets and humans. Just sprinkle it on the leaves and ground around any/all plants. Also hand collect them in the morning with gloves on, as they leave a stain. Most nurseries and garden centers now carry it, or you can find it online.
