Ikea Kitchen counter As desk?

Hi, I saw a blog post on using kitchen counters paired with ikea legs to make a desk and was wondering if the following would work together: NUMERÄR (counter top :http://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/products/20107670) and 2x Vika Alex (drawers: http://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/products/10192824) Thanks, Daniel

1. Works fine. They also sell table tops to use the same way, the Vika ones, and they're cheaper. The kitchen counter is a bit nicer in a way because it's thicker and heavier so it's less bendy. Depends what you want to do, exactly, on the top. I found the thinner ones no good at all for sewing because they flexed too much. If you weren't planning on doing something like sewing, the thinner ones are okay.
