Planting a flower garden, full sun, South Georgia.?
What are some good flowers? They'd be in pots, not in the actual ground as we have a porch balcony.

- It just depends on what you enjoy looking at. The next time you go to the store look at the seeds that they have there. That's the best way to do it. Marigolds practically grow themselves and they are so hard to kill. Even on purpose. They tend to overrun the flower bed or pot and will kill some of the other flowers, so be carefull. If you intend to hang some of the pots then Edging Lobelias are real nice. But I wouldn't recommend it if you don't like the color purple.
- Peonies and mini zinnias(like Thumbelinas) do well in pots. Gerbera daisies also do well in pots, especially when slightly potbound.
- begonia, gerbera daisy, petunia, dianthus, showy evening primrose, salvia, pansy, zinnia
