Christians, I wonder if you would choose something here from the description below?

I'd like you to choose what you would be in God's garden but please read the description so you can figure this out. You come into God's garden. On your right is a lovely herb garden full of all kinds of aromatic, healing herbs. There's an old, worn bench there to sit down and savor the scent from the garden. Straight ahead is a beautiful flower garden with border plants, climbing plants, lilacs, roses, some wild flowers and a gazebo in the centre with a path leading through the flower garden. Off to your left are fruit trees of all different fruits growing at different times. In this picture, God is the gardener. What are you in His garden? The more we discern about ourselves in these ways, the more we see about ourselves.

  1. We are probably the herb garden because we are here to comfort and encourage and, hopefully, be instruments of emotional and spiritual recovery.
  2. we are to be like Christ...Jesus is healing , rebuking , tender, compassionate , devoted, holy, righteous, forgiving , merciful, loving, ...the mind of Christ is the manifestation of love of God..whatever plant that is in is the one you should be. God says we become these things through faith in him and obedience ot His word. It is not so much the more you know about yourself but hte more you know Jesus is what transforms you.
  3. I'd like to be a tree glowing full with fruit, a sweet smelling fragrance from one of the many flowers and the plant that keeps climbing.
  4. Oh, that's easy for me...I'm praying that I'm the spade that God uses to till the soil and prepare the land for all this beauty...By the way, YOU practically described my yard in all it's wonder...I've built gazebo's with a large chain swing in the middle complete with lighting and of course we have to have screen around it so we can enjoy it in weather allows for bugs/mosquitoes here down south; a ceiling fan for artificial breezes...Only you forgot to mention the cascade water with the sound of water resting on itself when it splashes...THAT is the most golden sound that always entreats and calms me to all ends.. As for the plants, that's the lagniappe that God provides us with...YES dear, although my gazebo's been down for a few years , we're fortunate enough to have all that beauty you've described . Praise God !..
