  1. The ASPCA has a good list of plants toxic to dogs and cats. I've attached the site below. Its a good idea to print up a copy as well and keep it handy. The ASPCA also has a 24-hour emergency poison hotline directly at 1-888-426-4435. http://www.aspca.org/pet-care/poison-control/plants/
  2. http://www.articlesbase.com/pets-articles/plants-harmful-to-dogs-indoor-and-outdoor-884204.html I used to have a very comprehensive list of plants that are toxic, but sorry I can't find it........animals are very good at knowing what plants they should and should not eat....at one time I had wild garlic growing on my land and any visiting dogs would stand and eat it, yet garlic is often said to be toxic ( it can be in large quantities) but it is very good for repelling parasites and keeping the blood clean in small quantities, occassionally my dogs would eat it but I give them garlic in their diet...so I suppose they were 'topping up' when needed
  3. Poinsettias, Ivy's, philodendrons, cactus.
  4. Most plants labeled as "houseplants" are toxic to dogs.
