Horse Fancy dress??? Garden ideas?

Hi, i'm doing a fancy dress competition soon with my horse, i am dressing up as a flowerpot man and i'm dressing my horse up as a garden, with flowers etc. I've got a big green sheet which i'm going to stick fake flowers on etc, but how else can i make him look like a garden?? What can i do to his mane/ tail etc?? Any ideas? Thanks x Don't worry this isn't going to be a regular occurance, just a one off sort of thing (bit of fun) he is very willing and i wouldn't do anything to him that he was uncomfortable or unhappy with. 1. Horses do not really appreciate being dressed up.
2. i would braid the mane and put fake flowers in it
3. plait his main and tail and stick flowers and leaves in it. if it is allowed you could paint on him (with non toxic washable kid paint)
4. If you are allowed to paint him, you could get some of that hair dye that people spray in their hair. It washes out really easily, we use it on equestrian team for the speed events. If your horse is super willing, you could get a gardening hat and cut holes in it for his ears, tie a piece of rope to it, and have him wear it as a hat. Also, you could splatter mud all over his legs.
5. have you heard of spanish moss? you can get it at like craft stores. you could weave that into his hair. another idea is braiding his tail with flowers. how spooky is he? you could get a child's garden hat, cut holes in it, and put that on his head :)
6. If you are doing bill & ben the flowerpot men then how about turning the pony into Weed. Give pony a bonnet similar to daffodil but gree/purple. Bug pale green sheet on horse. Simples. don't worry about horsey, he shouldnt mind. I've dressed mine up as all sorts in the past.
