What is 'a UK size 12' on the house of fraser womens clothing sizes?

i would like to buy a dress from house of fraser womens clothing, but the sizes come up as small, medium, large etc. I am a 10/12 so which one should i get??? thanks all x

1. small is 8/10 medium is about size 12 large is size 14 x-large is 16/18
