are there many men working in womens clothing stores?

I need a job and have experience but the only places hiring are womens clothing stores. I've never been in one so i couldnt say if men actually work there? Can any ladies tell me if you've ever seen a man working in one of these stores? Something tells me probably not. They probably wouldnt get hired anyway. I dont think any woman wants to ask a man about bras and womens underwear. It would probably make the customers uncomfortable.

  1. yes mostly feminine ones.
  2. Actually, there are some men I've met that did that. Usually it was a family business and all the brothers wanted to work in hardware or kitchens. Shoppers usually know what they want and times are lessening the prudish behavior in most major societies. Questions might either be to the point and sterile and your answers cannot be ladened with giggles, rather the helpful tone of knowledgeable salesperson. Other sales women will take care of the less adventurous. I worked with a young heterosexual guy at a hotel restaurant, years after he left the womens' clothing retail industry, who confided in me, "It was kind of unusual but it's was a great way to meet women." Peace, T
  3. Only gay guys.
