Any ideas for tile colours/ splash back choices to go with a high gloss white kitchen?

Hello I'm planning a high gloss white kitchen (ikea abstrakt) with a beech wood counter top and stainless steel oven, hob and sink. The splashback directly behind the cooker is also likely to be stainless steel. It's a very small U shaped kitchen and so I don't want anything too bright like black or red tiles - these are the ones they usually show in catalogues for high gloss kitchens. Any ideas what might go as a more neutral colour for the splash back in tile? Would be interested if anyone else has got high gloss and gone for more neutral tiles. Thanks for your help

  1. Either a white ( gloss or a matte finish) sub way tile (3"x6" / 7.6 cm x15.26 cm) Or you can get them in a tan/ beige colour to stay neutral. All white while doing a splash of the neutral colour ( or anything you want) as an accent colour. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar and check my qualifications there. GL
  2. White is nuetral so you can put anything you like with it. I would look at the other colours in the room, floor etc. and coordinate with that, also I'd go and look at the tiles because you may choose a really good looking tile over the original colour you predetermined.
  3. TRY A SMALL 4 X 4 PASTEL TILE IN PALE BLUE OR GREEN ..OR YOU CAN TRY A NATURAL STONE TILE IN PASTEL ...THE SMALL MASAIC TILES ARE VERY GOOD IN NATURAL AS WELL ..TO MUCH GLOSS MAKES IT LOOK CLINICAL
