How to stop receiving shopping catalogues?

I don't want to receive shopping catalogue, like crate & barrel or Jcrew, anymore. I'm thinking to use p.o.box and if I forward mails to p.o.box, those catalogues would cause trouble. How can I avoid mess? Thanks in advance!

1. Write a letter to the company and ask them to remove you from their mailing list. Include the mailing label.
2. just call up and ask to be removed from the list.
3. Call up and ask to be removed and if that does not work - shred it up send it back to them and include a note asking to be removed. That usually works - if not rinse and repeat - they'll get the message.
