Free Garden Catalogs

any ideas for free paper?

catalogues etc but preferably not shiny ones cuz theyre not very absorbant. its for lining some pet cages but before anyone lectures me i put fleece on top so my pets arent exposed to the ink. i used to buy plain disposable table cloths to make sure they definately didnt get to any ink but i recently lost my job so i wanna try to save money wherever possible so i dont have to feed my pets crappy cheap food, especially my rats, the cheap food pet shops sell for them is absolutely ridiculous! i want to keep giving them good quality food with fresh food and veggies until i can find a new job so any other money saving ideas are very welcome i havent been the kid everyone hates lol but my neighbours dont speak english lol sawdust isnt very good for them, plus i dont mean actual bedding stuf, i have a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge supply of carefresh in my cupboard, i just need to line the shelves so they dont have like pee puddles just sitting there cuz then they walk through it and get all soggy and smell like pee

  1. How much does a newspaper cost in your city? It is only a few cents for a newspaper in my town. Buy a newspaper and READ IT - then use it for your rats. Reading a newspaper is the adult thing to do. You could visit some of your older neighbors, you know some of the ones over 40 years old - they usually know how to read newspapers and they will probably donate one to you. If you have been the kid that everyone hates then don't expect any help!
  2. why don't you use sawdust you can get a 2' x 3' cube for about $6.00
  3. check your local library or hotels who offer papers to their patrons and then discard them. tell them you will be happy to haul them off for them. you could also contact the local paper distributor and find out what he/she does with the unsold copies in the newsstand. ask a few of your neighbors if you can have some of theirs. go to grocery stores and ask the manager if you can have a few of their outdated sales ads.
