Woman asking for my details!?

Today when i was shopping this woman came up to me and said Hi would you be interested in getting a free clothes catalogue, I thought I would be nice and went along with it, she had this little machine and i gave her my address, tel, date of birth, name, email and asked me to sign the small machine. But then I walked away and was like err why did I bother doing that i don’t even want the catalogue!! I mean i didn't give her my credit card details or anything like that and she didn't look that professional
