1. I've always preferred Sammy for display technologies. But you might want to check out Visio. They caused a huge upset and have gotten a great reputation fast.
2. I would have to say the Sony Bravia Nothing comes clost to the Sony brand it makes the other TV manafucturer's look like children while it is Elite. Plus Sony lasts a lot longer than any other brand and has an awesome reputation throughout the years.
