The most useless product seen advertised ?
Have you ever looked through these free catalogues that arrive in the post box,and seen Adverts for totally useless products, I saw one for a solar garden light,Only trouble it did not have battery back up and would only light up in daylight. (bought and tested by the local paper) 9 volt boxes that you glue on to your body to loose weight, The list goes on. Anybody seen more useless products than these ?.

- Yeah the Sinclair C5! And the motorbike ashtray! ( OK I made that one up!)
- a pen with a compass on it, why would you need to where north was to write something, crazy.
- When visiting Santa, how else does he know what you want for Xmas
- Satelite navigation Who needs a skateboard to go off road if you have sat nav
- Chocolate Fireguard!!
- not a gadget but the most useless or unneccessary product i've seen lately was a packed mixture for streussel. you had to add butter and it cost $2 something. Streussel only consist of butter flour and sugar, why buy a 5 times more expensive package???
- I once saw a device that scrambled eggs whilst they were still in the shell! It was a rapidly rotating needle you inserted, carefully, into one end of the shell, then you switched it on for about twenty to thirty seconds, and sure enough, when you then broke open the egg, the white and yoke were all mixed up. Saved you the effort of having to stir the eggs once they were in the pan! Changed my life, I can tell you!
- The device that tells you it is raining, set outside your window.
- [rant mode] to the numpty who said 'satellite navigation', I guess it would be useless to you, if you never go any further from your home than the distance that your skateboard will take you. [/rant mode] The most useless device I ever got was an AAA battery powered mobile phone recharger. If you cant remember to charge your phone, why would you remember the battery device - and you have to remember to put new batteries in it, too
- Mobile phones with very bad digital camera built in. USB-powered cup warmer.
- How about Yahoo Answers? :-)
- Those little battery powered personal fans.
- the most useless invention i have seen is a battery powered solder iron. yes i bought it , and no it never worked.
- I received a gadget that was supposed to remove the shell from hardboiled eggs. Nope, didn't work. Copper bracelets and magnetic wear are a whiz down the toidy for sure. Exercise equipment that supposedly requires no effort. Chocolate fountains. Anything advertised as "Fun for the entire family!!!!" is probably bad news. Anything Not Sold In ANY Store!!! Car window tinting in northtern climates. The vast majority of "miracle" vitamin and herbal supplements. Cosmetics "guaranteed" to make your skin tighter and younger. So many to choose from!
- Silly covers for miscellaneous objects - a knitted cover for the spare toilet roll, a leather one for the Radio Times, etc And as for "Put an end to unwanted nose-hair misery ....."! Oh, iv've just remembered toastracks.
- Electric things for shaving bobbles off jumpers at £9.99 - a 10p bic razor works far better!
