Garden Seed Catalogs?

What are some good garden seed catalogs that have vegetable, herb and flower seeds. I like Urban Farmer Seeds (http://www.ufseeds.com) catalog but would like some more opinions! Thanks

  1. I presently have Michigan Bulb Company and Gurney's laying on my desk. I also get mailings from Henry Field's. Good luck!
  2. I would google the term and behold, you will likely get more then enough offers. Good luck.
  3. once you have one, you will certainly get others.
  4. Here's a list for you: John Scheepers Kitchen Garden Seeds - www.kitchengardenseeds.com The Cook's Garden - www.cooksgarden.com Seeds of Change - www.seedsofchange.com Pinetree Garden Seeds - www.superseeds.com Vermont Bean Seed Company - www.vermontbean.com Territorial Seed Company - www.territorialseed.com Jung Seeds & Plants - www.jungseed.com Johnny's Selected Seeds - www.johnnyseeds.com (this is one of my favorites) Seed Savers Exchange - www.seedsavers.org Burpee - www.burpee.com However, I would avoid buying from Michigan Bulb - lousy service, and their plants and bulbs are substandard. I once ordered several varieties of bulbs from them and only a few of one variety actually grew. They have a really poor track record.
  5. Jung Seeds & Plants- since G247-5864. Also, R.H. Shumway's- since late 1800's- has lots of unusual and hard-to-find varieties veggies and flowers- interesting to look at. rhshumway.com (800)342-9461. Good luck!
  6. Oh heavens! I'd loan you some! Hubby gets tons of them this time of year! Burpee Seeds is one that's been around forever but they are a little pricey. Stark Brothers is another. R.H. Shumway's is one hubby really likes too. I've attached a link that should keep you busy for awhile. Your mail carrier might develop a dislike for all the catalogs! LOL
  7. Check out the Landreth catalog. This year's is *amazing* - for the history and the tips as well as for the seeds and plant pics!
