What companies sell naturally regenerating or heirloom seeds (seed savers exchange)?

I am starting a garden, and am tired of paying for new dead-end seeds each year. Seed saers exchange is the best place, but they only sell veggies. this year I am starting a vineyard, orchard, and growing lots of different berry bushes. stark bros. isnt one is it? is the cook's garden one? but where can I find that? thanks alot.

  1. Gurney's, Park Seeds, Burpee, Johnny's, Jung, and John Scheepers all sell open-pollinated, or heirloom seeds, although you'll need to read the descriptions, because not all of the plants listed are OP. All have websites. I haven't ordered from Stark Bros. for years, so don't remember if they do, but I believe that they specialize in fruit trees, which are often grafted, or hybrids, in which case seeds from the fruits won't produce true to the parent. Hope this helps...
  2. I'm not sure if this exactly answers your question, but I've ordered from Harris Seeds in the past and I know they offer bareroot fruit plants and trees. You could check them out: http://www.harrisseeds.com/storefront/s-625-fruit-bareroot.aspx http://www.harrisseeds.com/storefront/s-885-fruit-trees.aspx They have been very helpful and followed up with the order I placed to see if I had any questions (which is unusual to find in today's economy!). Good luck!
