1. Your link doesn't work. I use compact flourescent grow lights to read by and my plants like them too. Look up "CFL grow lights" on eBay. RScott
2. Thelashop sells good grow lights. I purchased my indoor gardening equipments from it and think it's kinda reliable in this kind of products. Btw hope you know what your uncle need before purchase, cus there are something important to consider, such as the type of the plant and the size of room he's going to plant in.
