Why are antlers getting more popular?

I'm seeing them in higher-end catalogs. Personally, if I can ever afford to seriously shop from these catalogs, you can bet that I will *not* be buying things that would make my home look like the interior of my redneck relatives' trailers! I don't get it. Maybe one of y'all can help?

2. Well, personally, I would not want these, and no, I do not have them. Why antlers are getting more popular? Well ... I believe that it's because of today's high-propelled modern life in urban and suburban areas, homeowners would like to create a feel that is more inspired by nature and country life to create that illusion within their own home, yet make sure that the furniture pieces are things that are convenient and in which they can use ... As well as being tasteful enough to put within their homes. Plus, for the Fall Out Boy video, the guy in the beginning wears a set of antlers. =)
3. It's so the cheap girls can accessorise with their a**e antlers (lower back tatoos)
4. It's a high-end 'lodge' look, similar to the most expensive summer 'camps' in the Adirondacks and out West. The summer homes built in the mountains use a lot of natural and local materials to create their look, and that includes antlers, sometimes woven into extremely artistic light fixtures, chairs and accessories. If you can appreciate the beauty of these natural creations (and keep in mind, they are simply shed painlessly by the animal each year, so they're not harvested), they can make amazing decorations. I have a chalet and love the Adirondack Mountains camp look and find its rustic, natural furnishings very appealing.
5. We are living in an era never before existed! Instant communication; world wide commerce; over night goods from around the world, and much more..so someone hit on an idea to make bucks, BIG bucks..In a few words, the reason: Filling a "spot" to make money.
6. they aren't just now getting popular--if you don't like the look don't buy any just to be "in" that is so ridiculous!!
