What is the best home library software?

I have hundreds and hundreds of books I want to catalog. I want to take a printout when I go book shopping.

1. Use LibraryThing. You can not only catalog your books, you can review & rate your books, and read others' reviews and ratings. You can use records that have already been written in order to save time cataloging. Maybe best of all, you can search your LibraryThing catalog on your cell phone when you go book shopping & leave the printout at home.
