I want to build a rock wall and plant my strawberries in the cracks in the wall.?
Will this work and what do I have to do to make it work. I have a small front and back yard that a lot of is shaded so I need to utilize all the sunny areas that I can. It's going to be filled with soil in between the front and back so I can plant an herb garden in between on the top.

- I've never had much luck planting strawberries in pots or in crevices. The berry production is severely limited, and in my opinion, not worth the money paying for plants for the 2 or 3 berries each plant gets in a pot or wall crevice. Strawberrys like an exposed crown - not covered with dirt, and they like poor sandy soil. But hey, give it a shot. Maybe you'll have some luck. Let me know if you do!
