Making a webstore-Web design info?

Hello, I am making a type of website shop/store, I currently have the layout all made with a css template, etc. The thing is that this is my first time making a webstore and dont know how it is that I add products to the web pages. Is there something I need to be able to add the products in a web page including the picture, etc in an organized catalog manner? By the way I am wanting to add a shopping cart, what is the best shopping cart at the moment that wont charge me too much or is free, and works great. What about web hosts that have free shopping carts? Thank you I appreciate the help.
