Do they put those .....?

beautiful illustrations in seed catalogs so you can see what you planted would look like if they had ever come up?

1. yep, just rubbing it in your face that you've got a brown thumb.
2. Yeah. I personally have a black or brown thumb; nothing I plant grows except zucchini, which you absolutely cannot help growing. It comes up even if you don't plant it!
3. or the bugs and animals didn't eat them when/if they did actually come up
4. Yeah for real. Mine almost never look like the picture. And like you said, IF they come up lol I just put the packet on a stick in the ground and show everybody what I could have had!!!

7. I wish they would have those catalogues in .... The seedlings of our children.... I'm sure I would have waited for the next catalogue to put my Spring order in !!!
8. I bet those pictures aren't even of real flowers--mine come up kinda scrawny looking
