6pm summer garden wedding.. is this okay to wear?

The dress hits me just a couple of inches above the knee. I was going to pair it with some simple black patent leather ballet flats. Is it too casual, or will I be alright? let me clarify: I'm only attending the wedding! not the one getting married.. haha.

  1. I think its cute
  2. I would say to stay knee length or longer. Lol... when I saw that picture I was like, "How is she going to sit down???"
  3. Thanks for explaining that the dress hits you a bit lower than on the model. I was going to exclaim, "Too short!!!" I think it will be okay -- find some pretty accessories to go with it. A beautiful necklace or even a lightweight black wrap would make it more evening-ish.
  4. U r wedding ur wish if u feel comfortable & ur fiancy finds it gud.... then the dress is grt.... it willl look nice but depends how pretty UR
  5. That's pretty ugly. Nighttime weddings convey elegance. Nighttime weddings outside convey ever MORE elegance. So step it up a notch!
  6. As long as it definitely is longer on you its fine. Its a summer garden wedding and that style and the color definitely conveys that feeling. I would put some dressy jewelry with it to kick it up a notch. The black flats would be great, even a neutral pair of heels would be cute.
  7. It is a bit casual, yet you'll be alright. Don't worry about it. You are only a guest, not the bride nor bride's maid. The color is a bit too catchy and solid though. Play it loud with some bangles and big earrings. Soft on necklace. Good choice on the simple black patent leather ballet flats.
  8. I think it should be fine, although I think white shoes would look better than black.
  9. I think it's too casual. I wouldn't wear it to a wedding.
