Decorative rock-garden?

Hello everyone here! :) I'm living in a small room and want to make a decorative rock-garden (alpinarium) in a small glass box (aquarium or terrarium alike). Is it possible? I need to know what long-lasting plants I should use to keep them very small and nice looking here? I know that my question is very confusing, but please advice me if you can is it posible to do it in this glass box, not in any yard, cause I don't have my private yard space. By the way, I forgot to mention, that I also don't know how to make a drainage, which would help not to rot plants' roots and not to make any green flies or fungous plant illness

1. i can suggest to put desert plants like cactus etc
2. it depends on how much sun you have, so you can either choose the plants need sun or doesn't need sunlights. if you are worry about water too much, you can always use a spray water, so it won't get a lot water but enough.
