- moisture will attract a wide array of critters, from frogs and lizards, to all sorts of insects and in turn birds.
- You will attract many kinds of wildlife just for the water alone. They drink they bathe and frogs like to sit in it. So put a piece of branch or stone just above the water line or slightly below. Remember frogs are migratory they come and they go. If the frogs are born there they will return during mating season. Frogs are amphibians that migrate back to the pond, marsh, or lake where they hacthed as tadpoles, and lay their own eggs there./click on picture http://www.enchantedlearning.com/coloring/migrate.shtml See source below................
- If there are frogs or toads in the area, they will usually show up at any bit of water. You can put out water any time you want but frogs are hibernating right now so don't expect any to show up until it begins to warm and there are bugs for them to eat.
- It will attract frogs, but you need a side of the bowl with sand and something above to hide them from predators. They love to bask in the sun. Also, you may need something laying in the bowl at an angle for the younger ones to creep out of it onto the rocks.
