Public Comments

  1. Sure. If it's too rank, dilute it first.
  2. sure i have with good results.
  3. It will not hurt a thing except maybe the scent of a flower!
  4. yea, as long as your tank has cycled and the amonia levels are at in the acceptable range then it is okay to use the water.
  5. Absolutely--makes a good fertilizer--just make sure the ammonia levels aren't too strong.
  6. I routinely use the water in my fish pond to water my garden when I do a partial water change. They thrive on it as it offers beneficial nutrients to the plant. There should be no difference with your inside tank as long as it is fresh (not brackish or salt) water. I've been watering my houseplants for years this way.
  7. yes the nitrates in the water is gold fertilizer and your plants will love it
