Free Garden Catalogs

Anyone know any good plants for a nearly full sun garden, little water :]?

at the very edge of my yard is an empty planter, very full sun, we wont be watering it very often, i would like sturdy flowering plants, any ideas, (i live in southern california so very warm)

  1. Try mesenbryanthemum,(Livingstone Daisy).Bright colours,low growing,relish full sun and require little watering.Buy mature plants from garden stores,or easy to grow from seed.-and seeing where you live,how about Californian poppies!

  3. Google drought resistant plants. Although I dont know about survival in a planter as plants in planters do need to be watered more often.
  4. Most cacti and succulents grow well in these conditions.
  5. Check out any of the many types of Sedums. There are some that creep along the ground and those that are 24-30" in height. They also do well in planters.
