Growing Soybeans?

I am wanting to plant soybeans in my garden this year. I'm wondering if I buy soybeans that are organic from the health food store, will they grow more soybean plants? Or do I need to plant a certain type of soybean? If I do, where can I buy seeds in bulk, about 2 to 5 lbs, instead of in small packets?

  1. The soybeans from the healthfood store should grow as long as they have not been altered (cooked, frozen, etc..) and are whole. http://www.Johnnysseeds.com sells soy beans (non GMO) in larger sizes and I believe offer certified organic soy beans as well. There are many different kinds of soy beans for many different purposes
