Where to buy alfalfa seeds? How to grow them?

I would like to start my own indoor-garden (too cold outside right now) to grow salad greens for my bearded dragon, so he can have fresh, pesticide-free stuff, and plenty of it. I cannot find alfalfa seeds at any local stores. Might I be able to order them somewhere? I hear that alfalfa is pretty easy to grow, but that's all I know. Could someone tell me how? Does it need window/UV light or anything?
