Buying Ladybugs in the Bay Area?

I live in San Jose, California and I need a store or a garden where I can buy ladybugs to combat my aphid problem. I don't want to order them by catalog or via the internet, so can someone give me the nearest location that sells these delightful pest control creatures? Include phone number and address of the provider, please.

2. Sloat Gardens used to sell them, so I'd give them a call. They have a few Bay Area locations, so ask if another branch sells them, if you don't find it locally. 3. I would call a garden center or greenhouse NOT HOME DEPOT OR LOWE'S and ask them. The cooperative extension may help, and some farm supply stores, too. We have them here in OH, and they are in the cooler with the medications.
