Balsam and douglas fir saplings?

I can't seem to find Canadian balsam tree saplings or Doug Fir saplings anywhere around, nor in the garden catalogs. Where is the best source, as I want to plant some out back?

  1. You may want to plant seedlings, not saplings. Seedlings are much easier to transplant, have a higher success rate and are available from most nurseries or garden centers. You could start here: www.nurserymen.com or weyerhaeuser.com
