how can i find out if a company is for real? the name of the company is cca catalog shopping club?

the card i recieved is for a certian amount, but i could only use it on the catalog, how do i now if this company is for real

1. This is a great site for that kind of stuff ,type in their web site address on the homepage and scroll down through the info and it should say the name and address of the company etc.
