At what age to girls go from juniors to womens clothing?

My girlfriend is about to turn 21 and I need to know so that when I buy her things to wear I go to the right department.

1. probably still juniors. its your call tho ! if it looks like something your mom would wear dont buy it for her.
2. Well, why dont you take her shopping and see for yourself? She might still like some juniors clothing, and fit into it of course. There isn't a specific age, becasue everyone is different. <3Chelzz.
3. Well, never, necesarrily (sp). Juniors goes from about 00 to 14... womens goes about from 2-14. So they can be the same... it's just the styles that are different. It depends on your girlfriends size... you can ask her best friend if you're not sure or don't want to ask her.

5. If she is nearly 21, I suggest you go to the women's section. the juniors are way cute though, but i don't think they would fit her.
6. usually if people can still fit in juniors then they'll still wear that. if it looks like her style tho and as long as it fits, get it for her
7. If she is larger,( you know, "fat"), or tall, she may be in the Women's Department. If she is short or fit/skinny/lean, then she may be still in Juinior's. I am tall and lean and I wear juinior's . Hint- I am eleven!!

9. The only real differences between juniors and women's clothing is the styles, sizes, and cuteness of the clothes. Women's clothing is more for "older" women. I'm 31 and still shop in the junior's section because I like their style of clothes better. If you don't know what she wears, take her shopping. Take her to the mall and let her go to her favorite stores. Follow her. Let her show you what she likes. You can do this without even hinting you are planning on getting her clothes. Of course, if all else fails, buy her a gift certificate to her favorite store. It's not as exciting as getting an actual present, but she'll know you cared enough to know what her favorite store is, without hurting your feelings if she doesn't like the outfit you bought her.
10. i would say definitly juniors! im 23 and never see anything in the womens department i would want to wear.
11. There isn't really a time when females say , "OK, guess I gotta wear women's clothing. I'm over 18 now." Hehe. My husband doesn't understand women's clothing either. Juniors tend to be more stylish and usually the fit of the jeans are slimmer and if they are low cut they tend to go extremely low cut compared to womens. Women's generally have an "older woman" look to them. With her being 21 I'd say juniors or misses. Just check out her style she's wearing now and compare it when you go shopping.
