Does anyone know why marc jacobs is using a male model to model womens clothing?

I've noticed that marc jacobs has been using a male to model his woman's clothing. does anyone know why? Is he just trying to be unique or what? Because I personally find it a turnoff.

4. I'm guessing he is trying to be unique and like trying put out there that he can show how much he has prove his designings.

6. Well first of all, the male model is only modeling women's clothing in the ads, not for Marc Jacobs' runway collections. Marc Jacobs ads always have the same aesthetic, and yet he always finds a way to set his ads apart from the rest. Who cares if a male model is wearing women's clothes in the first place? Maybe it's strange to some people, but it's fashion, and fashion is STRANGE. And that's exactly why I love fashion so much. But who is one to determine whether or not something is strange? It's really all a matter of personal opinion and quite frankly stepping outside of the box and wanting to be different, rather than boring or dull.
