Where to find sample womens clothing in china?

I manufacture womens clothing and to make a sample myself is very costly. Is there a place in China that only makes samples and sells them to manufactueres to produce in quantity to sell to stores? I know a manufacture who buys ready made samples from China and then produces the ones he wants to sell to stores . He wont tell me were he gets the samples from because I am his competition.

1. Having them done in china would be quite expensive. Normally manufacturing clothing is cheaper there because of the economic dynamics. But because they are making only one from your design, they have to use one set of cloth, only for your clothing, take one or more people to check for cutting, sewing, quality control and the rest, then you have to ship it from China, which for just a few samples is very expensive. If you want 100,000 items, China is the place to go. For one item, look for something closer to home..
