Is it to late to start a flower garden in my yard?
I live in zone 8. South Carolina. I want to start a small flower garden around my bird bath. It's all grass right now and spring is on it's way. I've done started flowers from seed in a small green house I have. It's been raining here for 3 days. Is it to wet to turn the grass? Or should I wait a couple of days?

- Not too late, but getting there soon. I find that wet soil is easier to turn, but there is a lot of clay in the Dallas area.
- It's detinitely not too late, especially if you already started seeds in a greenhouse. The last frost date in zone 8 should be around March 15, or today. Follow the weather and make sure there won't be anymore frost. Wait a day or two until the soil dries out a bit and then you can plant what you have started. It's almost never too late to start your garden. Good luck!
- No, it is for spring bulbs but theres still alot of can do.I think it would be ok to wait a couple days on the grass...
